Hello Friends..

As you all might be pretty aware that India in the recent times has been at the Centre Stage of the world Economy. Ever since we survived Recession effectively the world is eying INDIA with a different perspective. Now when Mr President(Barack Obama) is visiting our country to seek job opportunities and create trade relations with us, it clearly sends out the message to other countries that INDIA is no longer a Nation which will act like a slave. India has got the recognition at the World Stage and has immense potential to become the Leader for the Coming Decade. So I must say it's time to exploit this opportunity to the fullest.

As I am not a connoisseur who can talk related to economy with facts and figures but what I personally think is that now is the time to "BRAND INDIA".

Since last 60 years we have been ruled by the foreign taste & beliefs and were attracted by the "ANGREZI" style of living. We have hardly created our values a BRAND VALUE. Though various biggies have decided on the various AGENDAS they have to discuss with Mr. President, but what I think is that we should use this opportunity to spread our heritage and traditional values to the world apart from maintaining amicable trade relations. There are few things I would like to draw your attention which India should focus on in order to become a "Brand INDIA".

Firstly, India is blessed with its diversified culture. We are the only country in the world who Believes in "Unity in Diversity" and we have successfully preserved our rich heritage for decades now. So I believe now is the time when India should start promoting Indian values and culture if India aspires to become a Leader.

Secondly, Like US and other European countries have created their universities a world class and ranked among the top universities of the world. All this has happened to them just because they allowed their universities to go global. They weren't reluctant to allow the foreign students and pursue higher education. Now is the time for INDIA to promote the oldest institution of our country and help making them world class. IIT's despite being the best in producing world class techies are ranked very low at the World Stage. The reason is simple because they never allowed students of other countries to pursue higher studies. So Now is the time to take the IIT's and IIM's to a global level. Allow the Foreign students to come here and pursue their education. Allow foreign professors and students to carry out their research work. This will surely help in promoting INDIAN theories and will spread all over the world.

Thirdly, At this stage I remember the words of the Mr. Narayan Murthy who once said that "If the country really want to grow then ENTREPRENEURS will have to play a vital role". US has so many renowned companies just because they had great entrepreneurs in their country in 19th & 20th century. Now is the time for the INDIA GOVT to promote Entrepreneurial spirit among the youth of the country. The Educationists should take the initiative to promote Entrepreneurs. Because More the Entrepreneurs, Better will be the employment opportunity. Education should focus more on practical learning rather than rote learning.

West have been the leaders not only because they were highly educated and have world class companies but also because they have developed world class infrastructure and made their places an ideal destinations for the Tourists. India also possess highly consecrated places which we have to promote and make them tourist Spots. So now is the time when INDIAN tourism industry should start promoting our heritage building and museums which we Indians revered a lot. Apart from the heritage buildings, we also have a history associated with those places and the world don't even know history behind those places. So unless we promote such things we will not be able to brand our country. Now is the time when INDIA should start promoting TIER II and TIER III cities for the business and make them new Business destinations. It's the onus on the State governments to identify their strengths and seek opportunities for their states, Because when individual states grow the WHOLE NATION will prosper.

We have one of the most diversified food culture in the world. We in INDIA have Chinese, French restaurants. So what's wrong in promoting our food culture and take our style of food at the global stage. Like Western people have opened McDonald's and many other retail chains in INDIA so why can't we do this. It's the time to promote our traditional food all over the world and we should also open RESTAURANTS, Cafe's and Bars which serve only INDIAN FOOD and Drinks and that too in INDIA STYLE.

Apart from all these one thing which strikes to my mind is Clothing Industry we INDIANS are very much attracted to Western style of clothing. This is because they have promoted their style of clothing and now we are addicted to such style. We are fond of their brand of clothes. So why can't we do such things. Now is the time when we have to promote everything we have. No matter how smaller it is. Why can't we promote our Traditional style of clothing and make the ANGREZ wear Traditional KURTAS, SAREES and many more.. Now is the time when our INDIAN fashion designer should promote varied kinds clothing our tradition have.

Last but not the least is the our TEMPLES and RATH YATRAS. Like there are "FESTS" in WEST and we are attracted to them a lot so now is the time when we SHOULD PROMOTE our TEMPLES and RATH YATRAS which we organize every year. Now is the time to promote our PANDITS, Sanskrit Experts and other Holy Leaders and allow them to go global and make the Angrez learn Indian values. Now is the Time to SPREAD OUR TRADITIONAL VALUES, CULTURE and many more things.

So Friends, Don't you think It's time to MAKE OUR COUNTRY A BRAND INDIA?? I am sure you too would love to see INDIA Becoming a BRAND Value.

Hello Friends.

Corruption, Tension, Fear, Aggression, Excitement..Being Successful at the END.....Yes Friends for month or so INDIA has been going through such kind of emotions. Here are few instances which kept INDIA on the CENTRE STAGE of the world.

Firstly, We all are very much aware about What was the Scenario of CWG before its commencement and everybody was skeptical about how the games going to be conducted. Every body was blaming the pervert officials for forgery of funds and poor quality of work being done for the CWG and why not, they should. National Pride was at stake and Every body was censuring the Organising Committee. But whatever be the case finally INDIA has displayed great show.

Secondly, Amidst the Heated CWG issue, The Biggest decision i.e. "Ayodhya-Babri Masjid" was about to hear the Final Verdict. Everybody was under severe tension and fear about the after effects of the decision. Every body was waiting for the decision and the scenario was such that many of the schools and offices were closed and as if CURFEW has been declared. People were alert by themselves and all round the message was spread that peace should be maintained. Finally we succeeded in announcing the final verdict without disturbing the country's harmony. This was very critical decision keeping Common Wealth Games in mind. Rumors were rife that many of the Athletes will not come due to security concerns. But Finally INDIA showed to the world that We are united and Nothing can disturb the communal harmony posing very strong message to the world. Hats off to the people of INDIA..!!

Thirdly, When country was busy welcoming the Foreign Delegates and Athletes for the Common Wealth Games, our TEAM INDIA was all set to take over the Aussies in a 2 Test Match Series. Once again this was a series which Every cricket playing nation was closely looking at it. This is was more than a series for INDIA because they have to live up to their reputation of being a No.1 Test Team in the world. And see the Result What more you can except INDIA winning both the matches. A Clean Sweep for the Aussies after almost 25 years. All Credit goes to the GOD OF CRICKET our legendary cricketer SACHIN TENDULKAR who apart from continuing his Juggarnaut Run machine played some superb Match Winning Innings and played a key role in taking INDIA to 2-0 Win in the test series. At last Aussies got to accept the fact that INDIAN's are THE BEST in the World.


Finally, When INDIA TEAM was doing Miracles in Cricket, how can our Athletes remain quiet. They were also grabbing Medals. Creating world Record in Shooting, Boxing and many other events. Moreover for the First time our Hockey Team reached into finale and finally grabbed the Silver Medal. At last INDIA Creating History by winning Highest Ever Gold Medals in a competition and taking INDIAN MEDAL tally to 101 grabbing the Second spot ahead of England. That's really a Commendable effort by athletes of INDIA. Hats off and Congratulations to all the athletes for contributing to INDIA's success.


WoW it's feels great I never seen INDIA being discussed so much by the World. It's Great that INDIA is definitely taking to the WORLD and Proving it's MARK by sheer Talent. Hats off...It's truly pride moment for the Country....Proud to be an INDIAN....!!!!!!!! Jai HIND..!!!

I am pleased to see that you all are very responsive and that propels me to write and share my thoughts even more..!! Today I am with some different topic.


Well Friends You might be all familiar with DATING and many of my you might have dated at least once. Right?? Many a time I see students getting intimidated by INTERVIEWS but in a normal world they are very frank and audacious. So Here's a analogy and a THUMB RULE for those who think job interviews are daunting.

Firstly Think you Job interview like a DATE with GIRL/BOY. What Happens in a date, you go out in a best possible manner and try to impress a girl/boy. When you go for a date you in fact rehearse for many times in order to get it right at that moment. So Try that strategy for interviews. Rehearse as many times as possible so that you don't get it wrong.

Secondly when you go for a DATE you check the history of that Girl or Boy, about her way of life, her friend circle and even consult them about her likings. So Why don't you adopt that Strategy while going for a JOB interview? I suggest when you go for a JOB Check out complete profile of the company. Like for a girl you check out her likings, in the similar manner you check out the Technology on which the Company works and try to to get accustom with that Technology. This will not only help to impress the interviewer but also you will make the interviewer feel that you are desperate for the JOB.

Moreover When you go for a DATE you always tend to appreciate either the dressing style or the nature of the GIRL/BOY or the location in order to impress her and to gain more space. So it's always better to adopt this strategy in the interviews too to appreciate things(Not the interviewer dress but the ambiance and the the way recruitment has been conducted and how calm and considerate the team members were) Don't hesitate to do this. This will provide you edge over others and also show your frankness.

Thirdly, Your DATE may or may not be successful but at the end you surely ask her how did you feel meeting me.Right??? Just to evaluate that whatever preps you did were sufficient enough or not. Similar strategy you should also adopt while going for a Job interview. After completion of the Interview whether you get selected or not ask freely "How did you find my interview sir??" This will help you gain two things: First it will help you to overcome your weakness and you will surely rectify for further interviews and second it will make an impression on the minds of the interviewer that The Candidate considers every incidence as an experience and if some time later you meet him he will surely help you and might consider you for a job.

Last but not the least Many a Time I see that students getting nervous at the time of interview and despite having sufficient knowledge not able to crack it. Like in a DATE although a Girl or Boy hits at your weakness you anyhow try to justify it and easily come out of the situation. So similar strategy you should also adopt at your Job interviews. The Interviewer never checks how much you know but in fact he checks how well you can handle pressure. So be cool and answer as if you are answering you sweet heart to save your relationship. This will surely work to an extent.

Well Lot of Gyan was given on Interviews, I am sure many of you might be having many more interesting analogies and suggestions. I am waiting for that. Your views are heartily welcome. Don't hesitate to share your views.

Does Talent Need a BRAND Tag???

Hello Friends,
After almost a month I am back with some content which is going in my mind for many days now. So I thought better to put my thoughts on my blog and know my audience views.

There is no doubt that this is a world of advertisements and branding. It is proven fact that the more you advertise, the more will be your popularity. Similarly this concept has entered into the lives of human beings. Now a days humans are also no different from any other product.

Last decade or so we have seen that a product tagged by HUL or ITC or any other international brand will be a big hit but a product of same or better quality will not able to get the desired exposure just because it is not branded. This is not because that non branded product is bad but the problem lies is in the Perception. People tend to trust more on branded products rather than any other ordinary product. Similar is the case with human beings also. Now a days students are striving hard to get a brand attached to their name. More often than not we see that A person studying in IIT or IIM will get much higher package or salary which any other ordinary person can't even think of. This sometimes makes me think that "Is there a dire need to attach a BRAND value to your name"??? Will you be not able to get success without the Brand value????


Friends it is very true that attaching a Brand Name like (IIT and IIM) will give your career a kickstart but it is not the only thing which can give you success. There are many legendary person who without having a brand attached to their name, they themselves made their name a BRAND. Every body might be knowing Mr NR Narayana Murthy(Founder of Infosys) who is not an IIT alumni nor an IIM alumni but still he created such a repo in the industry that even IIM and IIT grads dream of working in his organisation. There are many examples including Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell and many more they were all deprived of attaching a brand name but with their sheer hardwork, talent and self confidence they themselves have made their name a BRAND.

It's great if you can get a kick start in your career by getting a brand name but if in case you are not lucky then you should not worry. Because now there is a chance to make your name a BIG BRAND right? Your talent is not dependent of some organisation or institution to tag it as TALENTED but what matter is your confidence and self belief which takes you ahead in your life. Better know your strengths and weakness and work accordingly.


Though I am writing this article but I am also trying hard to attach a brand name. Since it's a human nature, we should never loose hope but at the same time we should keep in mind that it is not the only thing.

CWG: National Pride @ Stake????

CWG: National Pride @ Stake????

My journey of blogging is going great. Hope you all are also enjoying reading..!!!

When matter is about the country or its pride I can't stop myself commenting. Same is the case today. It's always great to host an international tournament not only it helps us to be in limelight but also allows an opportunity to showcase our culture, religion and to go global.

Friends it's true we are in the midst of our CWG preparations and hardly two months left for the D-day. So its time when the committee members have to take the onus of hosting the event successfully. But since last two days what am I listening that Our National Stake is pride??? There are allegations of Money siphoning outside the country???? What this??? This type of news not only put our moral down but also questions our administration.

Rs 35000 Cr is the Amount that was sanctioned for the CWG but still Mr Suresh Kalmadi was caught saying that we need some more money for the development of the stadiums and all that jazz. This type of demands simply questions Are we Really in a State to Host an International Event like CWG???

Many a time, Congress officials caught saying that These type of International events bring national pride to us. But my friends we are a country where 40% of world's starving people exist and we are a country where other than cricket no other sport has a credit to its name. So are these issues not a part of our national pride??? I reckon rather than spending 35000 Cr on this event, if we have spent even 1/10th of this amount on development of training centers and training our National players we would have earn more pride by winning Medals outside country.

Second issue which is paradox to the National pride is Why Don't we host these international events in other cities of the country??? Is Delhi alone represents the country??? Instead of sanctioning whole amount to Delhi govt. if they had given this opportunity to other states then I think we would have been in much better situation than that of we are at present. In that case other cities also have got the opportunity to contribute a little to the national pride.

Cost of 1 A.C is 4 Lac, Cost of a Treadmill is 9 Lac, Aren't these figures shocking??? You believe it or not but yes this is true. Such a big amount is flowing for the event. There are allegations that pervert politicians have siphoned this money outside the country and not allowing it to be useful for the event. Govt. should take immediate steps to identify the pervert politicians and punish them.

I am speaking because we are a tax payer citizens and we have a right to identify where our money is utilized. Its our right to see that our money is utilized effectively, efficiently and transparently. More over our national pride is at stake. But at last whatever be the case We have to be happy and celebrate that CWG will held in October. Still 62 Days left and committee members should contribute and try their level best to make this event a success.

As an Indian I can only be optimistic and hopeful that This event will surely be a great success and will bring National pride.

Hello Friends…

After long gap I am back to blogging…!!!

Friends, the Engineering batch of 2010 has passed out and the chances of getting placed still look somber. This sometimes hurts especially when you know that you are talented and bit of luck will get you through. Many a times I come across a situation that students give up if they are not able to crack 2-3 companies. My dear friends I understand the fact that it’s not that easy to get job when the market is gloomy. What you need is patience and just believe in your abilities that something better is waiting for you.

God has something else in the store for you. What you need is to just thorough preparation and waits for the opportunity.

Here is a story I am sharing of an MCA STUDENT who got SUCCESS after 24 FAILURES. Hats off to him…for being so patient…This is truly inspirational. Just spare time to read this…Will surely boost your confidence….!!!!

Modeling: A Traumatic Career..!!

Hello Friends,

I always say LIFE is very beautiful and if we can't enjoy it then surely it's our fault. Two days back one of the most happening models of the B-Town Viveka Babajee has committed suicide and ended her life. Speculations are rife that she must be in depression and survival was impossible for her so she took that decision.

I always wonder why such beautiful girls and ladies of B-Town who are blessed with almost all the things which are required for a successful life but still they end up committing suicides. This is not the first case of the B-Town when some model has committed suicide but in the past there were several models who had been through this typical phase of life. In fact there are some models who were so drug addicted they lost all their senses. I always thinks what is the reason for such suicides. Is Modelling life so traumatic??


What I personally realize is that there is not a single reason for the failure of models. There are various factors which contribute to such disaster.

Firstly, As we all know that Going Ups and Downs in career is very natural phenomenon . No body can be a king for whole life. Same is case with the life of the models. When they enter into their modeling career they are pretty young faces and most of the biggies of the town are also happy to cast them into new roles and make the most of them. This is very much fine. But as the life progresses and their job becomes demanding then they have face several thing which are not at all acceptable by them. But since their job is demanding that from them so, they have to do it whatever the situation is. This sometimes creates frustration in them.

Secondly, the modeling culture is so different that they are hardly accepted by the sophisticated people of the society. Drinking, Smoking and doing all the other things which society consider it as a curse are pretty common for them. But since models have to survive and to maintain their status they have to do it. So whenever they walk on ramp or go in parties they are highly appreciated by the people around them but when they actually face the reality they find themselves aloof. Very few parents would love to see their daughters walking on ramp and showcase their body. But most girls take this decision against the will of their parents and society and find that even their loved ones are also not with them. They are in fact totally debarred from the society. So this feeling creates frustration and at the end they find that no one is their to support them in difficult times.

Thirdly, since they are aloof so they find someone who can take care of her and can provide the basic necessities of life. But since they belong to such an extreme profession that a person of sophisticated society is hard to get. So they find solace in the people around them whom they met in parties etc. But there also the path is not easy. Both model and her partner are together just because both of them are getting publicity and they are pretty happy with buzz of their affair. But my friends, any relationship just for the sake of publicity will never ever go long and one day it has to collapse. So one more shock for the model, what she thought to be her life partner ends up ditching her. So another frustration and another despair.


So through this article what I mean to say that nothing is permanent in this universe and whether you are a model, business professional or any other celebrity one thing should be kept in mind that if you have reached to the pinnacle then one day you have to once again come the ground only. So why don't you accept that heartily.

At last I just want to convey the message that Life is full of opportunities and never consider yourself worthless. These models are a big message to the society that what human being needs is satisfaction. So your ultimate aim should be to seek satisfaction and live your life happily.
