My First Job @ ZenSar Technologies..!!!

Hello Friends..!!!

It is quite ironic that Despite I hate open campus recruitment, I got recruited in ZenSar Technologies through open Campus only.

Yes, its true that I am no more unemployed. 25th of FEB ZenSar organised the Campus Recruitment in IPS Academy and I was fortunate enough to be selected amongst 400 students.

All those articles I have written down are not at all wrong. I said that those who get selected it's really a great moment but for those who are not its something better lying in the store. So never panic and don't be frustrated. By the way literally speaking the amount of happiness I expected, I wasn't happy to that extent. So untill and unless you don't get things you are worried but when you achieve that excitement vanishes.

I would love to share my experience about how the whole procedure went on at IPS on 25th FEB. The company is CMMIE rated and amongst the top 25 companies listed in NASSCOM. So in all its not a bad deal.

The company has three rounds viz. Aptitude, GD and last PI(Mainly HR). It's not the case that this wasn't an irritating day. Though I got selected but the day was rather more irritating( because I had to wait till 12 PM for the results). But whatever be the case I was selected. They selected overall 49 students from 400 odd appeared.

So, though this job brought happiness of being employed but at the same time they are demanding Rs.65000 for the training. After the training they will allot us the project. They will be paying us 2.5L for the 1st Year. So with such little stipend and surviving in Pune is itself a big deal but let's see what happens next.

I am planning for an MBA but I don't think that with such an hectic schedule at the training camp will help me to pursue that. But any how I have manage that. Because that's my ultimate aim of life. Some more companies like L&T Infotech are planning for campus recruitment so I am hoping to play my luck there also.

But all in all the feeling of first job is immeasurable. It's all luck you need at the Campus Recruitment. I thank god i was lucky enough to be placed in ZenSar. Now I am a ZENSARian...!!!!!

I wish everybody will sooner or later get a job. It's not an issue...!!! Because if a person like me(who is poor in technical) can get a job anybody can get it...!!! So, I wish Best of Luck..`!!!!

Open Campus: The Mockery of REAL TALENT…!!!!!!

Open Campus: The Mockery of REAL TALENT…!!

Hello Friends..!!! Welcome..!!!

Turn down Few blogs I wrote about the Recruitment procedure by the companies hurts many. Adding to it this is one more instance where the real talent was subdued because of college biasing.

On 22nd FEB our college was fortunate enough to be eligible for the campus recruitment. This time the campus was organized outside the city i.e. Bhopal. Traveling itself makes the task tough but the procedure there was even tougher (not in terms of paper difficulty but the way it is conducted). This was in fact the test of our fate rather than knowledge. We were already got short listed in the first round conducted in our college but again the same procedure was adopted at Oriental Bhopal. This was done because they doubt whether the students selected are unfeigned or not? So for sack of their gratification we had to go through another testing procedure. This wasn’t enough there were 3 more rounds where you needed to be fortunate. At the end though I wasn’t successful but one thing I learnt very well that you need to have your luck at its peak when appearing in campus recruitment in open campus.

I again doubt and denounce the companies who are conducting the Talent hunt program for their companies but whom the hell they are relying on? The college, who hardly check any copies and only play with the careers of the students For them selection or rejection hardly matters. They just want their college to be the center of attraction. No doubt written process in any campus recruitment plays a key role but not for the companies but for the students who are always the victim of being overlooked because of not having their own college advantage. This is what exactly happens at the open campus recruitment colleges. At the end 70% students are selected of their own campus and hardly any from the other colleges. What is this, what ethics they are following; this is also one of the work ethic they should focus on?

Until and unless you don’t have any sound contacts with the students of the college you will not be clearing any written. Though I had the contact with college students but still I was a victim in and got rejected in second round. At times college plays a dual game. They don’t stick to their commitment. They say that the cutoff will be 17 but when the final results are to declared they shortlist only those who are above 20 and many a times their college students are favored by increasing marks though they aren’t scoring that much. What matter is the role of TPO (Training& Placement officer). He has to be clever enough keep an eye at everything.

So friends another article targeting at the campus recruitment procedure. This is not the case that I am not able to get into but I am discussing because there are many others who are extremely talented but are cold-shouldered because they don’t have anyone to favor them. But whatever be the case companies might also know this thing but they aren’t taking any stringent steps for conducting the Fair recruitment process. So let it go the way it is going. After all these recruited people are the companies assets and if they don’t do justice to their assets the will suffer. That’s what I can say..!!!

This is a story of mine but many such students are victim of unfair campus recruitment process. Those who are selected Great..!!! But those who aren’t, please don’t worry there are various other career options and opportunities waiting for you.

So be confident and believe in true ability of yours. Don’t miss my next article…..Entrepreneurship the Future lies ahead..!!!! which will make you feel better…I mean ALLLL will be WELLLL after that!!

How do you find this? Don't forget to post your valuable comments. N yes IF YOU HAVE ANY SUCH GRIEVANCES Feel Free to share it on my blog..!!!!!!!

Thanxx…..!!!

HIGH TECH LIFE....!!! BUZZZZZZZZZZZ....

Welcome Friends..!!!

The week gone was full of Roses, Gifts, Chocolates, Proposals, Hugs and Kisses. It was the festive season for the lovers. Some proposal successfully accepted and might be some not. But don’t worry friends “efforts are always appreciated” so hope for the best you might get your love some time latter…!!!

But friends don’t you all think that in today’s world every thing is happening at an lightning pace? Whether its exchange of love messages, sharing happiness with your loved ones or negotiating business deals. I must say today’s man is totally HIGH TECH.

Recently the new social networking platform BUZZ was launched by Google. Since it’s a product of Google so it has to be in limelight. Previously Orkut and Facebook were already booming but in last few years TWITTER and other has made common people Tec savvy. In fact the business people, celebrities and politicians are also using it as an effective tool for promotions. WOW I am extremely happy the way world and specially the people of India going High Tech.

Imagine a situation when the love letters and other important messages used to take weeks to reach the destination and after week long we get the reply. But the 21st Century is changed. They highly rely on SMS's and E-Mails. In fact the new word is BUZZ. The technology advancement and Internet era has brought people lot closer. Previously when your relatives were in other country we endeavor to be in touch with them. But now it’s hardly take seconds to connect to anyone.

Recently my close relative married in Texas with his long time girlfriend. For us it was not possible to attend the marriage but see the prodigy of the technology. He in fact shown why technology is necessary. He just uploaded his marriage video and photos and we were enjoying as if we are really there. So this Internet era and unfolding technology has really made our lives high class.

Previously when some one used to buy a car or some thing new we were able to experience it only if we go there. But the Internet life and other social networking websites made it look really easy. I must give credit to IT which has made really entered into the lives of people. No matter how old are you? Technology is for all… This is the new punch line they are striving for?

Who can forget the MOBILE REVOLUTION among the youth? What I am talking about the INTERNET is almost true with mobiles also. You can find all such applications on the mobile too, in fact more. This is another wonder they have come with. Mobile Banking is the latest miracle they have done. What a splendid job these IT people are doing? Excellent..!!!

In fact IT professional are bit smarter than us. They have mainly targeted the youth segment of the country. They have now realized what the youth of the country wants. Any college graduate starts his day with checking his e-mail and then think of the other actions. Whether it’s the orkut, twitter, facebook and now it’s BUZZ you can find anyone on these social networking sites with their complete portfolio. What a technology revolution.!!!!! It hardly takes any time to spread a message among the youth. They are so well versed and linked up with these technologies that they just know it and they have it. Wow that’s something India should be proud of.

Sometimes it sounds great that Indian lifestyle going HIGH TECH but when we draw our attention over the impact of technology in our lives it really frightens us. BUZZZZZ….!!!!! It asks questions to us how long this HIGH TECH LIFE will continue???? Students at an early age become prone to lot many diseases. They rely more on chatting on internet rather than talking to their parents and neighborhood friends. They have become addicted to such technology and made their lives pathetic. Such custom of tech life has increased suicide cases and many such youngsters getting bereft of their childhood.

At last I just want to conclude that like you are only allowed to drive a vehicle at 18 otherwise it’s a crime. So, we should also follow such laws when it comes to technology. It’s up to the parents what stringent laws they can enforce? They should also take care that their child enjoys every bit of his childhood rather than getting into tech life.

You should understand technology but it doesn’t mean that it governs your lifestyle. You should be smart enough to maintain a balance between a social life and HIGH TECH life. !!!!!! Then only you can live a Healthy Life..!!!

Hope you understand the point I wanted to make….!!!! Since its a debatable topic and every individual has right to express. So don't hesitate to post your valuable comments. All comments and suggestions are heartily welcomed…!!!

Thanxxx ..!!! Keep Blogging..!!!!

Happy Valentine's DAY..!!!!!

Today is a Valentine Day…!!!!

This is a day to make love, this is a day when you get an opportunity to make someone feel special..In fact this is a day when you can make anyone yours by expressing love. For this the most loveliest gift you can think of is Rose.

Roses are truly the most significant gesture by which you can express you love whether it is your sweetheart, friend or some one else you want to express your love to. However, earlier, you want to say sorry, you would send a red rose; you want to propose, you give a red rose; you want to congratulate someone, you send red roses. But it could get so confusing, couldn't it? These days, thanks to research, and newer ways to grow roses, you can get the flower in so many shades that you'll find it difficult to choose from. But did you know that different colored roses signify different feelings? Take a look at this.

Purple or lilac rose This Valentine's is the perfect day to proclaim your love. And what better way to do it than with a purple rose, signifying love at first sight? To some, purple also means having a sense of protection and faith.

Green rose One of the most exotic and rare colour of roses to date, green signifies a sense of calm and peace.

Coral rose If your love is moving toward the naughty side, a coral rose should be an ideal gift. Coral signifies love coupled with desire.

Orange rose An orange rose indicates celebration and merriment and is a good mix with the coral rose.

Blue rose Another rare and exquisite colour, this rose signifies mystery or secrecy

Pink roses So you want to thank your landlord for being so patient with you? Send pink roses. These signify gratefulness, and a thankfulness to have that person in your life.

Deep red or black Rose Want to let her know that you are 'a slave' for her? A deep red or black rose should do the trick!

White roses There is a reason why white roses are so popular during weddings and special occasions. And why not? White signifies purity and innocence, prudence and humility. So, take your pick from the bunch and do something different this Valentine's Day.

So Make the most of this day and make some someone really feel special today...!!!! Don't miss this golden opportunity to express love.!!!!!

Have a most memorable Happy Valentine's Day...!!!!!!

Save Tigers...!!!!!

SAVE TIGERS..!!!!

How would you feel if just 1411 Humans left on the planet...SAD Isn't it?? It would almost be the end of the race for humans. WE are Fortunate isn't it?? But the TIGERS...aren't..!!!!!

Yes my dear Friends today I am here not to share some experience of my life but with a specific cause. It is always a pleasurable moment for everybody to go to ZOO and watch tigers roaming inside the CAGE isn't it?? And It is even more pleasurable if we go to NATIONAL PARK and are lucky enough to see the tiger passing away. Yes tigers are always fun to watch and are always brings happiness to life of humans.

But today I am very sad that we are not doing anything for those deadly but still lovely TIGERS who are always the PRIDE of the country and NATIONAL PARKS.They are some of the most beautiful, graceful, and powerful animals on earth and they are being slaughtered to the point of extinction It is quite ironic that Despite India is home to the world's largest population in the world and still we are not able to provide them proper survival. These tigers are our NATIONAL PRIDE, they in fact attract the tourists to the National Parks and directly or indirectly brings the revenue to the Government. It is the responsibility of the government and moreover it is the onus on the people of the country to save the tigers and avoid Poaching for fur and destruction. We should allow them to live in proper environment and help them to survive.

You will be astound to know these facts that At the start of the 20th century there were 10000 tigers in the world and now it has dwindled to just 2000. It really hurts. You might be even shocked to know that there is 60% decrease in the population of the tigers in the past decade.

The BENGAL TIGERS which are pride not only to the country but to all over the ASIA is also on the verge of extinction. It is really painful when we come to know that there is hardly any survival for them. There are only 1411 tigers left in INDIA and it is estimated that the strength may be even less. The Government has already declared them as endangered species. So despite knowing their headcount and status we are not doing efforts up to the mark.

There are various threats tigers had suffered throughout the decade. Among them Habitat Destruction is main. Unfortunately, the forests that are home to the tiger are not very safe these days. People are cutting down trees and putting up big factories. They are dirtying the air and the water. Tigers need lots of space to roam around. They need to meet other tigers from other forests. But we leave only very tiny jungles for tigers to live in. Tigers, deer and all the other wild animals cannot live in a small, dirty home. Would you like it if someone came with big machines and destroyed your house? The tiger's home is being threatened throughout the country.

We though can't do much to conserve them but still as a human being we can spread awareness for conserving them. There are still many in India who are killing them for their own benefits but they are forgetting that

SO, its my humble appeal to all the lovely audience to please contribute your best to save our National Pride. Otherwise we will be bereaved from this species. We can create awareness with which we can at least increase the life span of tigers to an extent.

Please write, speak and even I reckon you should BLOG for the conservation of our National Pride i.e. TIGERS...!!!!!

SAVE TIGERS and SPREAD THIS MESSAGE TO everybody around you..!!!!!!!

College BIASED RECRUITMENTS….Hurts MANY…!!!!!!!!!

College BIASED RECRUITMENTS….Hurts MANY…!!!!!!!!!

Hello frndss…!!!!

Welcome you all…..!!!! It’s been pleasant climate this time around…!!! Not too hot and not too cold..!!! Great climate to have fun….!!!!

Amidst this great climate and pleasant atmosphere I have a hot issue in my mind. Yes, you can call it as my agitation towards the Engineering Colleges and Placements.

It is always a proud moment in the life when you enter into the college after completion of your school and it is even more proud moment if you took the admission into the Engineering College. Great..!!! The feeling we get at that time is really awesome. We straight away are on the Cloud NINE..!!!!! Isn’t it???

No, friends don’t take it wrongly.I am not here to discuss the anatomy of how you get through engineering but rather I am here to discuss something much larger issue than this. If I ask you that how many engineering colleges are there in Indore? Then I guess it is bit easy to answer that near about 50. Isn’t it?? But friends if I ask you that How many colleges in Indore who guarantees the placement? Then I think the answer is much easier. Because there are hardly any engineering colleges in Indore who guarantees the placement. We don’t see any encouraging figures. It is somber that students are not getting job because of recession, that’s fine but it is even more depressing when some deserving students are not getting the jobs just because of their wrong choice of the college.

You all might be confused that what actually I want to say?? Actually the point is that these are last few days of engineering for the BATCH of 2010. Because of the recession last year we have a delayed placement season. And now when the recruitment spree has started it has been merely confined to the few colleges in the city. This is really injustice to many deserving candidates. For last few days Infosys and TCS visited to our city for recruiting the candidates. It was an Open Campus. It was great moment but it came as shock when they declared that only some colleges are eligible for that and my college was not eligible. It hurt to an extent. But we pleased ourselves that who cares when we have to go for Masters, so this placement doesn’t matters to us. But friends my problem is not with the placement of those students, I am actually concerned ..Are companies actually hiring the BEST?

Companies want the best, there’s not doubt in that. But when they are in quest for the BEST candidates then why are they restricting themselves to some of the colleges. They should come as OPEN to all. There are 45 other engineering colleges in the city who are also producing equally well qualified engineers, so how can you say that which college is eligible and which is not?. It’s totally disastrous. These instances really hurt me a lot. I many a times come across students who are below par in their communication skills and Technical knowledge but are still placed in top companies. The reason is simple that because they are studying in 1 or 2 upper grade colleges. This is really injustice to other students of the same grade. I am not jealous but I want to say that there are 20000 other candidates who are pursuing the same degree but they are not getting the recognition of their knowledge. So how far the policies of the companies are good? I totally oppose such type of recruitment process and I hate such biased recruitment process.

So through this Blog I want to CONGRATULATE to all the students who are placed but more importantly I want to commiserate for those who are much much better and are not getting their recognition. Through this blog, I also want to make an appeal to the companies that when they are actually looking for the BEST they should treat everybody and everyone as equal. Such biased recruiting process creates a sense of inferiority in the minds of the candidates and at times diverts the students from their goal who could have been more worthwhile to companies.

Well I may have written this article in seething mode but it is not intended to hurt any one.

There is saying in Hindi….
”SAMAY SE PEHLE aur KISMAT SE JYAADA KUCH NAHIN MILTA”.

So it’s always better to just wait for the golden opportunity in life and who know GOD has something else in the store.

Thank you for reading n Keep BLOGGING….!!!!!!!!! Do post your valuable comments….!!!!!
